It's Been One Year Today

HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY!

It is February 11, 2006. I have been with my humans for one full year. My human says that is a long time. I don't know what that means but it seems like I've been with my humans forever. I can't not remember what is was like without my humans. I think they love me and enjoy me as much as I do them!

My human says I have to post my before and after pictures to show all of you how big I am now. She says she used to carry me to bed but can't now due to my size and her back. Sure blame me for the back problems. So here are my baby pictures with more to follow. God, I hope not because I don't need the great Danes and Rotties in the hood to know that I once was small. If they found out it would blow my world to pieces. You know what I mean

This is my life and how I came to live here with my humans. My human had two other companion animals (dogs) with her. She thought about adding a third to her pack(that would be me). She heard about my mom, Star, who was pregnant with me and my siblings. That was shortly before her Mollie became quite ill. My human received Mollie on Dec. 22, 1990 as a Christmas bonus. My human lost her first dog, Bear, earlier that year and was really sad without a companion animal (see what we are good for!). That is how Mollie came into her life.

Anyway, Mollie became quite sick on Dec. 22, 2004. They rushed her to the Doctor and he said Mollie has Congestive Heart Failure(end stage/they didn't think she would live long/My human said six months and Mollie proved them all wrong by living six months and two days/ She had to be put to sleep on June 24, 2005/how sad my human was). Mollie almost didn't make it but she kept on truckin'. She was a bulldog (not literally but figuratively). That's when my human hoped that by putting her name on the list she then would get me(almost didn't happen, but it did, I'm typing this aren't I?).

My human has always said that when she first heard of me and my siblings(in my mummy's tummy) that if there was a male leftover it was meant to be! Can you believe someone would have insight about something like that before anyone? I was meant to be! And we were meant to be (she thought I could help Tasha thru Mollie's eventual death!)!!! Life can't get any better when it was meant to be! I'm uploading pictures of Mollie and Tasha, their are great gals, They kicked my butt a few times!
