Happy Groundhog's Day!

HAPPY GROUNDHOG'S DAY! That rodent says we have six more weeks of winter! What winter? It's warm outside!!! We have only had a dusting according to my human. She wishes it would get colder and snow lots. She says I haven't experienced my first real snow. I don't know what she's talking about. Humans, sometimes I don't get them......Also, my human says we are going to migrate north so that she can have some snow. You noticed I said she and not we.

Now, back to the rodent. How do we really know the rodent, groundhog (excuse me), saw his shadow? He could have seen all the humans and decided he didn't want anything to do with those humans.. He might have thought they were going to eat him or trap him and use him for their furs. Therefore he crawled back into his hole. (What is it with people and furs, furs belong to us animals! Why do you humans have to be so mean and kill animals to wear their blood, fur, on your backs? Again, I don't get humans?!? My human told me of the awful humans in china and eastern Europe(where is that by the way?) who raise and kill puppies/dogs for their furs!!!!HOW SICK IS THAT??!!I thought we were suppose to be man's best friend!? See the pattern, I don't get humans!!??)

Okay, suppose we agree he saw his shadow, how do we know their will be 6 more weeks of winter. We haven't had a winter. Now all of a sudden it's going to be cold? I think it's hogwash, more specifically, groundhog-wash! Is there such a thing? Check out this link:

Moving on......

My gripe of the day is ..... My SUPPOSED SHOES haven't shown up. This is DAY 6 and still no walk? What up with that? I'm running out of patience with my humans. I will protest and camp out on my front lawn if they don't take me walking! Yeah, I'll go on strike! They'll be singing the blues without me!!! I will, mark my words! (not literally, don't lift your leg to my words, your humans might get mad and kick you out of the house or desert you on a lonely desolate country road (see I'm trying to scare you not to lift your leg to my words) then they'll sue me. It wouldn't be pretty!) Soapbox over

I got a reprieve yesterday, my human didn't give me a bath. She is threatening me right as I type. "Charlie, get off that computer right now mister!" Excuse me, did she just call me mister? Who does she think she is? Again she's calling me..."Charles" oohooh she means business! "Charles get of that computer! It's time for your bath! NOW!!" Gotta go, she means business. She used Charles! My stay of non-bath is now over.......Remember fur looks better on us animals and not you human animals!
